What to Expect on Sunday Morning
What you can expect on any Sunday morning is to be greeted in a way that says, "You're welcomed here"! Have a cup of coffee before the service. You're with friends.
We typically start our service with 20-25 minutes of contemporary worship, songs that help us sing about God and to God.
Our children remain with us during worship. If you need help with a nursery at this time, we can provide this for you.
We take communion every other week at the end of worship. (Missed it this week? Come back next week!)
After worship or communion, we take a few moments to keep everyone updated about upcoming events and then take an offering and then send the children to their class with their teachers.
Next is a teaching that is designed to encourage and challenge you.
God's Word isn't just a collection of stories from long ago. It teaches us how to live out our faith in the 21st century.
At the end of the teaching, there is usually an opportunity to receive prayer for whatever an individual needs. We have people who are comfortable with praying for the needs and concerns of others and they accomplish it in a very none threatening manner.
Then Boom! It's over. Time to go home. You made it. And we hope you have enjoyed yourself and come back. Next time, you're not a first timer! Next time, you'll have new friends to greet you and welcome you back.
And of course, we love to eat and talk!
